My wife and I recently completed a stay with Castillo Vacation Rentals in La Mesa, Ca. This is not the first time we have stayed in one of their properties and as always, it was fantastic! In fact, we have stayed at all 3 of their properties and can say that none of them have been an issue. The two units on Garfield are very cute, cozy and extremely well maintained and the home on Glenira is absolutely wonderful! Nothing is lacking. Alycia is a gracious host, and she is always available for anything you may need. We can't say enough how happy we are to have found them. It's doubly good for us, because all of her properties are within walking distance of our son's home and the fact that they are such nice homes and very affordable make them our only desired place to stay, whenever we visit our children. We wholeheartedly and without reservation, recommend them to anyone staying in the La Mesa area.

This place is beautiful. It is well furnished. The kitchen is more than you would expect with a huge gas stove with 6 burners and a grilling station. The Master bedroom is absolutely stunning and the ensuite is more beautiful than you can imagine. We were 8 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. If you like to walk, you can get to La Mesa Boulevard in about 20 minutes where there are quaint coffee shops and restaurants. Alycia suggested a wonderful breakfast place. This house is a gem. I strongly recommend it for large groups.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. Booked for 2 days and 2 nights. It was a bit bittersweet having to leave and head home. Amenities and cleanliness seemed to be made a great consideration at this location. Would highly recommend! Would love to stay again!

Wonderful space that was super clean, quiet and just a pleasure to stay in. Alycia was very responsive whenever we had a question. We will stay there whenever we are in town!!! Beautiful neighborhood too.

This was a beautiful home with beautiful surroundings. The pool was clean and accessible, having the ability to BBQ was lovely too. I will for sure stay her again if I need to be in the San Diego area.

If your looking to take a trip to la Mesa and hotels are not your thing I DEFINITELY recommend renting this space, had good aroma as soon as we walked in. Had all things provided needed for our stay 😩 Meeting the host was awesome with her family was precious on the friendly aspect to feeling welcomed. Host was very responsive I genuinely liked that fast service ☺️ along with feeling safe and my family feeling safe as well ! Would I do this again heck yes would I rent with miss alycia .. of course !!! 😌🫶🏼

I was traveling through San Diego and in need of a place to stay. This unit exceeded my expectations with how modern it was, especially for the price. The unit has obviously just been remodeled with no detail forgotten. I have stayed at other properties belonging to these hosts, and can’t say enough great things about them and their hospitality. If I could give more stars, I would. Highly recommended!

Nice mid century modern beach Casita feel. Enjoyed the sunrise through the pine trees with our coffee at the pool side bistro table. The kitchen was fully stocked and the host took my wife hillside to pick lemons and oranges.

This place was beautiful and cozy. Had pool with BBQ grill and had small play area for toddlers. Highly recommended!
